Austin Franklin Goodman, age 81 of Rocky Top, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Frank enjoyed traveling and watching wrestling. Most of all, he loved his little grandson, Austin Reece. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by parents, Elbert and Sarah Jane Bray Goodman; brothers, Dale Goodman, Hoye Goodman, Roger Goodman; sisters, Georgia Goodman Byrge, Bernice Goodman, Unavee Goodman; nephew, Gilbert Goodman, Darrell Goodman.

He is survived by: wife, Josie Faye Desantis; those who called him dad, Ernest Reece, Michael Reece, John Ramsey, and Callie Ivey; nephews, Greg Goodman, Hoye Lynn Goodman, James Goodman, Mark Goodman, Roger Goodman, Matthew Byrge; nieces, Elizabeth Crowe, Tonya Goodman, Patsy Byrge, Gloria Fay Goodman, Janice Johnson, Tammy Justice; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with Rev. Hubert Marlow and Rev.
