CAMPBELL COUNTY TN. (WLAF)- Members of the Eighth Judicial District Attorney’s Office recently attended the 2025 Tennessee District Attorney General’s Conference Trial Advocacy course at the Cecil C.  Humphreys School of Law in Memphis.

Assistant District Attorney Joe Duncan and Domestic Violence Prosecutor Chelsea Hatcher attended. The comprehensive program, designed to enhance the trial skills of prosecutors across the state, provided invaluable training and professional development.

Assistant District Attorney Lindsey Cadle served as a faculty member for the course, sharing her expertise and dedication to the pursuit of justice with fellow prosecutors.

“The Trial Advocacy course is an essential component in our ongoing efforts to ensure that our prosecutors are equipped with the most effective strategies and techniques to advocate for justice. I am proud of ADA Duncan and ADA Hatcher for their commitment to professional development, and I greatly appreciate ADA Cadle’s dedication to training and mentoring others in our field,” said Eighth Judicial District Attorney General Jared Effler.

The Trial Advocacy course, hosted annually by the Tennessee District Attorney General’s Conference, is recognized as one of the most comprehensive and impactful training opportunities available to state prosecutors. Participants engage in hands-on exercises, simulated trial experiences, and workshops led by experienced faculty members.
