No injuries in the lunch hour blaze

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The call of a garage fire was dispatched to firefighters as “fully involved”. That was confirmed when the first Campbell County Rural Fire Service Unit arrived to the scene on Friday afternoon.

At 12:14pm, firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service headed to Lake Drive Lane, off Demory Road, not far from the White Bridge.

“The garage fire caught a pick-up truck next to the garage on fire, and the home beside the garage suffered heat damage,” said Captain Daniel Lawson with CCRFS. Crews kept the fire from reaching the interior of the home, according to the captain.
