LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A car and a pick-up truck collided on the Stiner Hwy (Hwy 63) at the east entrance to Middlesboro Road on Friday afternoon and then again on Sunday afternoon. In only a handful of minutes, Campbell EMS and Tennessee Highway Patrol units arrived on the scene before 2:30pm.

Candy Moore flagged traffic while her husband, John- above, directed traffic from the other direction.

Two units from the Campbell Rural Fire Service arrived to assist.

A husband and wife, flagged traffic, down to one lane, until another THP cruiser and two troopers arrived. One trooper thanked Candy and John Moore for helping and then took over.

The truck on the right was said to be involved in the mishap.

A couple of people were shaken up. One patient was being treated inside the EMS unit while another was driven in a private vehicle to the La Follette Medical Center.

Debris was scattered across two east bound lanes of travel and the shoulder. Traffic was down to one lane for a while. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-08/30/2026-3PM)
