Accident on General Carl Stiner Hwy attracts a lot of attention

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Three Tennessee Highway Patrol Units, three Campbell Sheriff’s cruisers and a Campbell EMS ambulance responded to an accident on the General Stiner Highway (Hwy 63) on Friday afternoon.

Around 1:40pm, the call of an accident with injury came in to Central Dispatch. A CUV and a TDOT pick-up truck collided at the east intersection of Middlesboro Road on the east bound side of Stiner Hwy.

The truck suffered damage to the right rear bumper while the CUV sustained significant right front side damage. One person was shaken up.

East bound traffic was down to the right lane with the left lane and turn lane being blocked. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-08/28/2026-6AM)
