Some CJUC customers are without water Monday morning

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- At 5am, WLAF began receiving calls of no water in portions of the CJUC water district. So far, reports of no water have come in from Wier Woods, Mount Paran, and Thelma Circle.

The water is also out at Jacksboro Elementary School forcing JES only to close on Monday; no classes at JES.

However, CJUC water customers in areas like around Jacksboro Middle School, Belle Meade and Dog Creek report that they have water.

As of 5:30am, operators at Central Dispatch had not had any calls about the outage. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-08/24/2026-6AM)
