Louie Bluie Festival welcomes The Lonetones to perform

CARYVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- The Louie Bluie Festival welcomes The Lonetones to the performance stage! This Knoxville band of multi-instrumentalists brings a genre blending, yet intensely regional flair to the performance roster.

Steph Gunnoe, Sean McCollough, Jamie Cook, and Vince Ilagan will take the stage at this year’s Louie Bluie Festival on September 26th at Cove Lake State Park. From the recording studio to local venues and WDVX performances, this Appalachian Folk inspired group has made a name for themselves in the regional music scene and beyond. Drawing from history, social movements and deep roots musical influences, The Lonetones are sure to entertain and inspire. The Festival is honored to have had the generous contributions of Sean McCollough who has long served as one of the Music Chairs, planning and coordinating the performances of our musical acts. This year Sean comes to the footlights from behind the soundboard to bring you the very best of musical performances!

As always The Louie Bluie Festival is free to all attendees, and will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10AM to 6PM at Cove Lake State Park in Caryville. The Festival takes its inspiration and vision from the life and art of Campbell County native, Howard “Louie Bluie” Armstrong, a polymath, artist and musician of worldwide fame. The Louie Bluie Festival is organized and produced by The Campbell Culture Coalition a 501(C)3 nonprofit, promoting arts and culture in Campbell County.
