Rickey Lee Phillips, age 64, of Rocky Top

Rickey Lee Phillips, age 64, of Rocky Top, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at his residence. Rickey was born February 27, 1962 in Lake City, Tennessee to the late Mary and Billy Ray Phillips. Richey was a member of Cumberland Mountain Baptist Church. He loved fishing, camping, cornbread, working on his vehicles, building “chimneys” with Allan the “Chimney Doctor”. In addition to his parents, Rickey is preceded in death by his wife: Linda Phillips and his sister: Nickey Phillips.

He enjoyed spending time with his life long partner Susie and Emily “Slick”

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Monday, August 24, 2026 at Hatmaker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Lindsay officiating.

A Graveside Service will be held following the funeral service at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rocky Top, Tennessee.
