LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- TN Hobby Haven is the solution when a parent hears “I’m bored” from their child. On Friday, Campbell County’s newest place for children to play cut a ribbon signifying it was officially for business and play.
The hobby store is owned and operated by Ryan and Amanda Darnley. The couple converted a spot that has been everything from a convenience store to a restaurant making it a place to play in the dirt. Utilizing remote control cars and equipment people can spend an afternoon moving dirt with construction toys or they can climb a mountain with a truck.
At Friday’s ribbon cutting the Darnleys said they wanted to open a place the community could enjoy. The shop is located at 1327 E. Central Ave., LaFollette, next to LaFollette Middle School.
