Early morning wreck with injury closes Baker Hwy at I-75

PIONEER, TN (WLAF)- The call of a semi-truck versus a mini-van came in to Central Dispatch a little before 5:30am Tuesday. Howard Baker Highway (Hwy 63) in front of the TA Travel Center was shutdown for about half an hour due to the wreck with injury.

The driver of the van had to be extricated by firefighters with the Caryville Volunteer Fire Department, and she was then transported to the La Follette Medical Center by Campbell EMS.
