LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- It was a most enjoyable morning of fellowship, food and fun for more than 75 folks who gathered at Coolidge First Baptist Church for the August Cars and Coffee. “It’s a nice turnout today, and we’d like to thank Dunkin for partnering with us,” said Anessia North. She and her husband Richard are among those who started the event in 2021.

The Kitts brothers, Mayor and Mut, along with Kenny Baird, retired from LUB, were among the many attendees showcasing their classic cars and trucks.
Mayor Kitts has had his Sunset Orange Pearl Chevy for about 10 years. It’s garage kept, though he’ll get in it and go anywhere. He did all the interior himself.
Rev your engines. Grab a coffee. And head on to Coolidge. For the sixth year, Coolidge First Baptist Church is hosting its five month run of Cars & Coffee. The next and final fun event of the season is Saturday, September 12, at 9am. The church is at 2486 Long Hollow Road- La Follette.
