Election results 2026 from WLAF, Election Commission Office

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The election results are in, and Campbell County voters have chosen their elected officials. It was a close race in multiple categories, with a new County Mayor being elected, along with a new 36^th district State Representative. It was a very tight race for county mayor with Jimmy Jeffries receiving 3,490 votes to incumbent Jack Lynch’s 3,439 votes.

In the 36^th District State Representative race, newcomer Noah Smith won by a large margin with 4,198 votes to incumbent Dennis Powers 1,909 votes.

Tyler King is Campbell County’s new Clerk, winning with 3,823 votes over Maria Partin who received 3,081 votes.

In the County Commission race, 1st district winners were first time politician David Greene who garnered the most votes with 1,138, incumbent Zachary Marlow won with 825 votes, and newcomer Joshua Etters came in at 685 votes over incumbent David Adkins who received 553 votes.

In the 2^nd district commission race, incumbent Beverly Stanfield Hall led the race with 680 votes, Jerry Brown with 629, while Lonnie Weldon received 490 votes. David R. Longmire trailed just behind at 470.

In the 3rd district commission race, winners are incumbent Dewayne Baird who received 865 votes, newcomer Jason Shetterly received 620, while incumbent Lawrence “Rusty” Orick came in with 576 votes to round out third district winners. Incumbent Scott Stanfield received 562 votes, as Anthony Terry received 443 votes.

In the 4^th district county commission incumbent and current commission chairman Johnny “Coach” Bruce led the way with 760, followed closely by Chris Stanley with 735 and then Ray Perry at 518 rounding out the 4^th district winners.  Nathan Treadway received 411 votes; Devin Oaks received 276 votes and Marlana Lester at 193 votes.

For the 5^th district, all new commissioners came on board with former county commissioner Ralph Davis leading the race at 574 votes, followed closely by Suzette Davenport at 496 votes and Pauline Walden Roberts with 455 to round out the new fifth district commission.  Dwight Osborn came in close behind with 432 votes, with Ferlin “Clay” Morgan receiving 286 votes, and Katrena Powers Reynolds with 212.

For the Campbell County School Board, first district incumbent and school board chairman Jeffrey Miller won with 1,122 votes over write in candidate Becky Aiken who received 165 votes.

For School Board 2^nd district, Christopher James Lee Honeycutt won with 674 votes. Marvin T. Rutherford received 262 votes and Brooke Longmire Dorton had 150 votes.

School board 3^rd district Randy Heatherly won with 986 votes while Jacob Perkins received 470 votes.

School board 4^th district Ronnie Lasley ran unopposed, garnering 1,023 votes.

School board 5^th district Crystal McNealy Creekmore ran unopposed and received 485 votes.
