Gail Regina McGhee, age 77

Gail Regina McGhee, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1949, to the late Monroe and Doris Harkins Queener. Gail enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed going on walks, going on shopping trips, and playing with her dog, Spencer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve McGhee; brother, Jimmy Queener; and grandchild, Aidan McGhee.

Gail is survived by her sons, Todd McGhee and wife Stacey of Newburgh, IN and Chris McGhee and wife Liz of Louisville, KY; brother, Dan Queener and wife Sharon of Jacksboro; sister Lea Ann Loomis and husband Mitch of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Alex McGhee, Tristan McCune, Kaitlin McGhee, Addison McGhee, Alyssa McGhee, Lola McGhee, and William McGhee; great grandchildren, Mason Brazina and Stella Brazina, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Steve Evans officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026, to go in funeral procession to Jacksboro Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.
