Early voting totals surpass a thousand through four days

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Wednesday marks day five of 14 early voting days with the last day to early vote being July 31. Tuesday featured another good turnout with 275 votes cast as the total number of early votes, so far, crosses over the one-thousand vote mark at 1,013.

Here’s a look at the August 6, 2026, sample ballot. Early voting began July 17.

Early voting hours for Wednesday are from 9am until 4pm at the Election Commission office at 129 Church Alley at Jacksboro and 9am-2pm at Jellico, 410 South Main Street, in the Municipal building.

Candidates are allowed to campaign but must remain 100 feet from the election commission building. Tents must be set up behind church. Candidates can not set up tents to the left of the building due to construction.
