(SPECIAL TO WLAF)- The Campbell County Environmental Services Department is pleased to announce that it is back to its normal operations. “All necessary replacement parts for our network, server systems, compactor, and scale house equipment have been received and successfully installed following the recent lightning strike that caused significant damage to our facility,” said David Adkins, Director, Campbell County Environmental.

Adkins goes on to say, we are happy to report that all systems are now fully operational, and the convenience center and transfer station are back to operating at 100% capacity.
We sincerely appreciate the patience, understanding, and support shown by our citizens during this unexpected disruption. Our staff worked diligently alongside our vendors and technicians to restore services as quickly and safely as possible.
