CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- Educators make a difference in students’ lives every day. For many students, having a school employee who cares and goes that extra mile can be the difference in a successful education and graduation. We’ve all had that teacher, or school employee who inspired us or helped in some way. That’s why WLAF and Eagle Tire Pros salute all of our hardworking educators with a weekly feature.
Tiffany Nolan is Eagle Tire Pros Educator of the Week. She teaches 2nd grade at Caryville Elementary School and has taught for over 17 years in the Campbell County School District.

Nolan is a Campbell County native. She is married to Josh, and they have two girls, Aurora and Noelle.
Nolan attended Jacksboro Elementary, Jacksboro Middle School, and graduated from Campbell County High School in 2003. She graduated from University of the Cumberlands in 2007 with a degree in elementary education and received a master’s degree in educational leadership in 2012 and an EDS and principal license in 2024.
“I didn’t always want to be a teacher. I had my eyes set on going to the moon, but my experience teaching kids at church changed my mind. Teaching can be so rewarding, especially when you see the struggling students start to make sense of hard things. Also, students tell some of the best stories and keep you on your toes,” Nolan said.
She had many educators over the years that inspired her.
“I have had so many teachers over the years that I have loved, but I distinctly remember Mrs. Charlotte Dagley’s third grade class and the ways she made learning meaningful. Mrs. Lisa Copeland’s junior and senior English classes prepared me for college, and I’m forever grateful.”
Nolan said her parents, Diana and Sam, “have been pillars of support her entire life.”
“I could never possibly thank them enough for all they’ve done for my siblings and me. They taught us about Jesus and have given us priceless life wisdom. My grandfather, Wheeler Boshears, was also a teacher and instilled in me a love of knowledge. Whether it was reading encyclopedias, checking out books at the Jacksboro Library summer program, or looking at maps and globes, I have an appreciation for learning new things. I love sharing knowledge with my students,” Nolan said.
When she’s not at school, she loves writing and has published some devotions online.

“I published my first faith-based book this year called The Three Sunflowers. I’ve also created some Bible study and sermon journals for all ages called The Big Faith series. All of these are available on Amazon. I also love fishing and traveling with my family. Alaska is now my favorite place we have been!”
Every Thursday, WLAF’s Charlotte Underwood features the WLAF – Eagle Tire Pros teacher of the week. That educator also receives a free oil change from Eagle Tire Pros.
