JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Heat, high humidity and a garage on fire, with a home just feet away, were the challenges firefighters with the Jacksboro Fire Department faced upon their 11:30pm arrival time to the south Jacksboro home.

The decision was soon made that mutual aid was needed in order to save the home on Gail Lane, just off Mount Paran Road.

Units and firefighters from the Caryville and La Follette Fire Departments provided assistance.

The fire was contained to the garage while the home was saved. There were no injuries.
