Tonya Renea Craig, age 55 of Briceville

Tonya Renea Craig, age 55 of Briceville, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born on June 25, 1971 in Yuma, Arizona to Rex Morgan and Helen Patricia McCallister Chase. She was a faithful member of her church, Briceville Church of God, where she was very well loved. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nanny, sister, daughter, and friend. Tonya was a precious soul that was a friend to everyone, a true woman of God, the little short twinkle in her five grandchildren’s eyes, and an angel here on earth taken way too soon.

She is preceded in death by her father, Rex Morgan Chase; brother, James Morgan Chase; and mother-in-law, Margie Craig.

She is survived by: husband of 40 years, Phil Craig; children, Justin Craig and wife Kayla, Jordan Craig and wife Emily; Brandon Budrow and Kyrstan Campbell; grandchildren, Hayden, Jayla, Camden, Lainey, Caysen, and many grand-dogs; mother, Helen Patricia Chase; very special friends, Bonnie Hooks, Brenda Tinker, and many others; sisters-in-law, Caroline Jacks, Barbara Bingham, Sue Jacks, and Angela Martin; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with Rev. Devin Barnette officiating.
