Donald E. Wheatcraft, age 59 of Jacksboro

Donald E. Wheatcraft, age 59 of Jacksboro passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2026, following a long illness. Don was a man who truly enjoyed life and loved to have a good time. He was known for always having a smile on his face and a helping hand ready for anyone in need. An avid outdoorsman and mechanic at heart, Donald loved nothing more than spending days fishing or working on cars. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Wheatcraft (Gibson); his father Donald Wheatcraft; his sister, Rebecca Simmons; his nephew, Robert Matz; and his maternal grandparents, Eula and Edward Gibson.

Donald’s memory will be cherished by his loving family, including his daughter, Andrea Wheatcraft; his grandsons, James and Kristopher Sutton; his brother, Dan Wheatcraft and his wife Mary; his sisters, Lynn Jacobs and Donna Seaborn; and his nephew. Cody Matz. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. 

It was his request to be cremated.
