CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- Next year’s budget and data centers are to be discussed.
Ordinances are the agenda for tonight’s monthly meeting of the Caryville Board of Mayor and Aldermen. All of the ordinances will have a second reading.
First is Ordinance 2026-05 amending the annual operating budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026, next is Ordinance 2026-06 amending article III; definitions: to include “data center” in the Town of Caryville and last is Ordinance 2026-07 amending article VII; section 707 to include “data center” as a special exception in the M-1 planned industrial park district.
The board is also slated to discuss the repair of the garbage truck bed.
Before the meeting, a public hearing is scheduled for the data center zoning ordinances and the 2026-27 fiscal year budget.
