Leroy Pigg, age 92, formerly of LaFollette

Leroy Pigg, age 92, of Hillsboro, Ohio, formerly of the LaFollette, TN area, passed away on Thursday afternoon, May 21, 2026, at Monarch Meadows in Seaman.

He was born January 15, 1934, in Berea, Kentucky, son of the late William Madison Pigg and Susan Mary (Lamb) Pigg. Leroy attended the House of Deliverance in Hillsboro. He enjoyed reading his Bible and had taught Sunday School for many years.

Surviving are his 2 daughters: Sandy (Gerald) McGuire and Cathy (Jim) Kosegi both of Hillsboro; 2 sons: John (Cindy) Pigg of Mt Orab and Randy Pigg of Kettering; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; 3 step-daughters: Teresa (Doyl) Huckaby of La Follette, TN, Cheryl (James) Ritchie of Miamisburg, and Sharon Crabtree of Yellow Springs; step-son, Leroy Crabtree of Miamisburg; and a sister, Tracey “Ruby” Wilson.

In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Corenia Pigg; son, Charles Alan Pigg; 8 siblings: Carl Pigg, Steve Pigg, Bill Pigg, Delbert Pigg, Emerson Pigg, Earl Pigg, May Shumaker, and Alice Devlon.

The Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM with Funeral Services to be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM with John Pigg and Pastor Danny Morgan officiating. The Family and friends will meet at Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, LaFollette, TN on Friday May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM for an Interment Service.
