Maxine Davis Kennedy, age 86, of LaFollette

Maxine Davis Kennedy, age 86, of LaFollette passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

She was a longtime member of Long Hollow Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Steve Kennedy, parents: Buddy and Grace Osborne Davis. She was the last survivor of 11 siblings. Maxine loved spending time with her Grandkids.

Survived by

Son: Terry Kennedy and wife Tennille of Caryville

Daughter: Christy Kennedy of LaFollette

Grandchildren: Allison and Logan Kennedy

Several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank Cumberland Village Healthcare and Lafollette Medical Center for helping to make her last days comfortable.

The family will receive friends 12-1 PM Saturday, May 16, 2026 at

Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service at 1 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel,

Rev. Kenny Sharp officiating.
