Greenhouse at Campbell County High School hours 8:30am until 2:45pm, M-F

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- “It’s been a busy day. The first day has taken off,” said Nathanial Morton, CCHS Agriculture Educator. Morton, under his black Cougar visor, grinned as he talked about opening day of the Campbell County High School Greenhouse.

“We’ve had a lot of good success. We’ve sold almost half of our assorted hanging baskets. We’re selling a lot of wave petunias; our begonias are about to take off. We still have some stuff that’s too small to sell right now, but we’re wafting on it,” said Morton.

“I’m very pleased with my experience here at the Campbell County Greenhouse. A very courteous young man sold me my plants. Everybody was kind and courteous to us, and I’m glad to be here. I’m a repeat customer,” said Katheryn Angel.

“We’ve had a lot of success here, and the kids are having a great activity and that’s the name of this game anyway is learning customer service. And how to get out there and work for themselves so they can feed themselves,” said Morton.
