Nancy Ellen Chadwell, age 83, born March 23, 1942 of LaFollette passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

She was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and a retired Campbell County school bus driver. Preceded in death by husband: Eugene (Pete) Chadwell, parents: Harold and June Woods Boshears, sisters: Jean Hicks, Katherine Johnson, Marcella Reed, Alice Asbury, grandchildren: Laura Ellen and Daniel Chadwell

Survived by

Daughter: Teresa and husband Greg Padgett

Sons: Wayne and wife Amanda Chadwell, Stephen Chadwell, Lloyd and wife Randi Chadwell

Grandchildren: Angel Saunders, Aaron Walden, Taylor and husband Joey Kuder, Brianna Whitlow, Zoe Brown

Great-grandchildren: Remington, Kimber, Bennelli, Colt, Colin, Oakland

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service to follow in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. J.T. Asbury, Rev. Johnny Vanover officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Thursday at

Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Chadwell Family Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
