Burchett has become a regular guest often visiting annually to speak with CCHS students

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- “It’s always great to have Tim in Campbell County and on campus at CCHS,” said Josh Parker, US Government teacher at Campbell County High School.
The kids enjoy asking Congressman Burchett questions about things they see on the news, and more importantly, they love to get a ‘Burchett selfie’, according to Parker.

“His plain spoken approach to life is really good advice for students about to enter a new chapter of their lives,” said Parker.
Parker expressed his thankfulness to CCHS Principal Ben Foust for allowing the school to host Burchett.

“I really appreciate Director of Schools Nancy Lay, School Board Chairman Jeffrey Miller, and School Board Member Jamie Wheeler for coming up and supporting us. It is appreciated,” said Parker. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-02/19/2026-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
