Upwards of 100 youngsters visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus

The real Santa and Mrs. Claus were once again spotted at the LaFollette Library this year and are pictured with LaFollette Librarian Nancy Green.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The real Santa and Mrs. Claus were once again spotted at the LaFollette Library this year.

According to LaFollette Librarian Nancy Green, “everyone had a great time at LaFollette Public Library visit with Santa!” This year’s event was held on Thursday, Dec. 18, and drew the largest crowd ever with at least 100 kids in attendance, plus their parents.

Santa has been making a special stop at the LaFollette Public Library for the past 10 years.

“The party this year was fantastic, with at least 100 kids enjoying two stories read by Santa and a couple of songs led by him as well,” Green said.

Santa read two stories to the kids, who also got to have their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus and whisper their Christmas wishes.

“All in all, I think it was one of the best and the largest crowd ever! In fact, the door counter in the library counted 220 people that day! Merry Christmas, everyone, and I hope to see you visiting the library in 2026!” Green said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/30/2025-6AM)
