Mrs. Lois Carroll, age 94 of LaFollette passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. She was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church and returned to college as an adult where she ultimately received her Masters of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. As an educator, Mrs. Carroll served as Nursing Instructor at Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) and HOSA Instructor at Campbell County High School. She was also employed by Dr. John Pryse and Dr. L.J. Seargeant, and was the first nursing director of the newly constructed LaFollette Nursing Home. Mrs. Carroll was a devoted wife and mother who dearly enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking, and most importantly had a true servant heart. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Fred Carroll, mother and step-father, Mary and Elmer Irwin, father, Charles Heatherly, and sisters, Azalee Cordell and Betty Lindsay.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Goins and husband, Marvin; sons, Andy Carroll and wife, Jennifer, and Bobby Carroll and wife, Angie; grandchildren, Brandi McGee (Daniel), Abbi Kincaid, Drew Carroll (Holly), Jordan Carroll (Taylor), Lindsey Carroll, Corey Carroll (Autumn), Brent Carroll, and Emily Carroll; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Leona Webb; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Family and friends will meet on Friday, November 28, 2025, 1:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 PM Graveside Service with her grandson, Rev. Corey Carroll officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: LaFollette Court Assisted Living, 139 N. Massachusetts Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766.
