Car chops down phone pole, driver refuses treatment

Accident slows traffic on Pinecrest Road early Thursday

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Not far from the first Pine Hollow Road turn off is where a single-vehicle accident happened at 5:04am Thursday on Pinecrest Road.

At 5:09am Thursday, volunteers with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service were dispatched to the 2100 (2155) block of Pinecrest Road for a single vehicle accident with injuries. The injuries were sustained after a sedan struck a telephone pole deploying the car’s air bags.
