McCloud facing attempted murder charge

JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Thomas McCloud has been indicted on attempted murder after a June incident.

Police were called to State Line Liquor at the 141 exit off I-75 after reports came in that a domestic dispute was in progress, according to reports.

McCloud had allegedly hit a 45-year-old man with his vehicle, court records said. The injuries required the victim be airlifted to receive care.

Along with attempted second degree murder charges, McCloud, 42, 135 Habersham Road, was indicted on aggravated assault and two counts of child abuse/ neglect/ endangerment for child 8 years of age or less with no injuries. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 10/28/2025-6AM)
