Grab and Go Gourmet is WLAF’s Business of the Week

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Grab and Go Gourmet Meals is your go-to for something quick, tasty and healthy! Located inside the new ReFuel IV store at 2226 Jacksboro Pike Suite 4 in LaFollette, Grab and Go Gourmet options are available from a refrigerated vending machine in the lobby.

There are lots of delicious choices prepared fresh by local Chef Tamera Milner, who has “20 plus years in the culinary field. The food she prepares is always fresh and is “geared towards the healthy but tasty concept.”

“We have a refrigerator inside our lobby, it’s Kind of like a vending machine and takes cards and you get these amazing, healthy and fresh meals prepared by Tamera,” ReFuel IV co-owner Timmy Zupancic said, adding that it paired perfectly with the philosophy at ReFuel IV, which is “aimed at health and wellness.”

Milner has over 20 years in the culinary business; she opened Whistle Blower Cafe in the early 2000’s, which was a small cafe with the idea of always fresh, always homemade soups, salads, sandwiches.

“It grew to include daily specials more of a blue plate, something for everyone. From there I operated Deerfield Restaurant in the summer of 2005. I also dabbled with catering… throughout the past twenty plus years I have grown and improved my love of food. I guess you could say I live and breathe food. I cherish food magazines, recipe books, triple D – diners, drive-in and dives,” Milner said.

Fast forward to now 2025 and Milner is bringing something fresh and new to the area with her Grab and Go Gourmet meals. She said she wanted to “try something different.”

A conversation with her cousin in Pittsburgh led to the idea of the gourmet vending machine. She then spoke with Rissa Pryse, Raewyn Snodderly and Timmy Zupancic in May of this year.

“I approached them about my thoughts on this machine, the FoodSpot. This vending machine allows me to create and supply healthy oriented food. They jumped on board. This fulfills the vision that they have for ReFuel IV. Mind, body and complete fulfillment. I have a passion for food, and they have given me the opportunity to explore this avenue,” Milner said.
