Von Heatherly, age 74, of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025. He had attended West Walden Street Church of God, and he was a retired electrician and plumber after many years in the area. Preceded in death by Son: Billy Von Heatherly, Parents: George and Ida McGhee Heatherly, Brothers: Millard (Goober) Heatherly and Don Heatherly.

Survived by:

Wife: Betty Claiborne Heatherly

Daughter: Sonya and husband Eddie Parker

Grandchildren: Nathan Bolton and wife Brooke

Great-Grandchildren: Rylee and Kennedi Bolton

Brothers: Raymond Heatherly, Roger Heatherly

Sisters: Marie Curfman, Retha Heatherly, Carolyn Carlson

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 12-1 PM Friday, September 19, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service at 1 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel. Interment to follow funeral service at Bakers Forge Cemetery.
