Town of Jacksboro has a new library assistant

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- On Thursday afternoon, the Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen met with short agenda.

The Town of Jacksboro has a new library assistant.

Last month, the board agreed to hire a library assistant to work 20 hours a week. The person chosen for the position is Morgan Cooper.

The board approved a second reading of Ordinance #137, the CJUC sewer use ordinance of the municipal code.

Resolution #377 to apply for a matching Partners Matching Grant was approved. If received, the proceeds of the grant will be used for the fire department. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-09/05/2025-6AM)
