Alvin Ward, age 84, of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. He was a founding member of the Hymnals and Victorymen Quartets and was manager at Morton-Wilson Hardware Store for 30 plus years. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by Parents: Rev. Ernest and Lucine Cole Ward.

Daughter: Teresa Lynn Ward Ackerman and partner Bud Stinnett
Sons: Steven M. and wife Stacey Ward, Daniel Wayne and wife Cindy Ward
Grandchildren: Jacob and Rachel Ward, Ragan Ackerman, Cole Ackerman, Tristan Ackerman, Christian Stinnett, Lorelai Ackerman, Alex Leach, Chloe Craig
Great-Grandchildren: Blaine Ward, Bailee Schiller, Brooks Allen Ward, Parker Day, Carmen Day, Eva Lawless, Priscilla May Craig
Sisters: Joyce Longmire, Shirley and husband Richard Goins
Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 4-6 PM Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6 PM, Rev. Bryan Burge Officiating. Friends will meet at 2 PM on Sunday, September 7th, at Campbell Memorial Gardens for Interment with Military Honors given by Honor Guard of Campbell County.
