The event starts at noon at Shelter 5 at Cove Lake State Park

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell Outdoor Recreation Association‘s (CORA) Annual Fundraiser Barbecue is scheduled for noon to whenever it’s finished on Saturday, October 25, at Cove Lake State Park Shelter 5. Members and non-members are welcome.

Lunch is $10. The event’s fundraising drawing ticket donations support trails and public land access and maintenance, public access advocacy and elk conservation.

Items to be drawn for include a stainless steel flintlock rifle (valued at $2,500), hunting knives, pocket knives, hunting gear and outdoors men and women’s collectibles.

“Come on out and support conservation for our mountains, waterways, trails and wildlife,” said CORA Board Member E.L. Morton.
