JA CKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Three sport athlete Koalton Cupp transferred to Campbell County High School last December, and the sophomore was cleared yesterday by the TSSAA to play varsity football for the Cougars.

“He was second team all-region in football last season for Cumberland Gap High School, but he didn’t play basketball or baseball,” said Johnathan Cupp, Koalton’s father.

Koalton Cupp played baseball for Campbell last spring and worked out with the Cougar Basketball in the summer, according to his father.

The six-feet, three inches tall Koalton weighs in at 230. When Cougar Coach Taylor Ownbey heard the news Tuesday morning he told WLAF’s Jake Miller, in an exclusive interview, that Cupp is going to be a major addition to the offensive and defensive line for the Campbell Football Team.
