JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- The first order of business at Monday’s County Commission meeting was to fill the vacant position left by recently deceased Commissioner Sue Nance, who had served on the commission since 2010.

Sue’s daughter Erica Nance Simpson was nominated by Beverly Hall to fill the position, which was unanimously approved by commissioners.

Simpson took her seat on the commission immediately.

She was the only nomination for the vacant seat.
