Benny Edward Carroll, 61, Jacksboro

Benny Edward Carroll, age 61 of Jacksboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 17, 2025. He was born on September 10, 1963, to the late Rev. Andy Carroll and Telitha Byrge Carroll. Benny was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing the guitar and attending church, where he played for several different groups.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Charlotte Richardson; his brother-in-law, Alva Gene Daugherty; and his sister-in-law, Kim “Hotdoggy” Koontz.

Benny is survived by his loving wife Darlene (Richardson) Carroll; his daughters Latoshia Carroll and Brandon Davis, Amanda Carroll, Elania Carroll, Brooklyn Carroll and Lyra Carroll; his sons Dillon Caroll and Lenora, Brandon Carroll and Ari Carroll; his brothers Richard Carroll and wife Lillian of Sparta and Alvin Carroll of Caryville; his sisters Merretta Daughtery of Jacksboro and Deborah Ridenour and husband Allen of LaFollette; his grandchildren Wyatt Vasquez, Aliyana Vasquez, Carter & Caden Davis and Bella Carroll; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with his funeral service to follow with Rev. Thomas Adkins and Rev. James Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery.
