Town of Jacksboro leaders meet in regular session

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- In less than 10 minutes, the Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen worked through its agenda on Thursday afternoon.

The first item approved was for Peyton Smith with the fire department to attend live burn training.

Next was the resignation of Police Officer Kris Gulliver. He resigned from the department effective July 8.

The final item approved was Ordinance #137. The ordinance modified Title #18, the sewer use ordinance of the municipal code. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-08/13/2025-6AM)
