JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County Board of Education members met Tuesday evening, approving several start of the school year items including the second and final reading of board of education policies for the 2025-2026 school year.
Several contracts, as well as a memorandum of understanding between the school system and the sheriff’s office were also approved, along with a memorandum of understanding between the School Resource Officer Program and the Campbell County School system.
School board officials approved the school system’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Program for $103,550 for the 2025-2026 school year.
A contract between Campbell County BOE and Dollar & Ewers Architecture, Inc. was approved as well.
A memorandum of agreement of B.A.S.I.C. (Better Attitudes and Skills in Children) at Caryville Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year was approved.
A contract agreement between Campbell County School District and Kline Behavioral Health was approved for the 2025-2026 school year.
Bus contracts for bus numbers #16 and #25 from Tina Reese to Reese’s Bus Services LLC were approved.

At Tuesday’s school board meeting, BOE chairman Jeffrey Miller announced that the Tennessee School Board Association would be holding its Fall District meeting at Valley View Elementary School.
“It’s going to be a time to showcase our school system at Valley View, I hope all of you can attend and be there, there is supposed to be over 100 board members from different school boards throughout Tennessee,” Miller said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-08/13/2025-6AM)
