Talk of Phase II of the all inclusive park located across from Shoney’s is expected
CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- The Town of Caryville Board of Mayor and Aldermen meets tonight at six o’clock at Town Hall. The board has a second reading of Ordinance 2025-05 which raises the residential garbage service user fees from $8 a month to $12 a month on the agenda.
The board has previously discussed hiring a town administrator, and tonight it will vote on Ordinance NO. 2025-06 which officially establishes the position.
A first reading of Ordinance NO. 2025-07 to modify Title 18 water and sewers of the Caryville Municipal Code by removing all references of the repealed Tennessee rule 1200-04-14 and replacing said references with 0400-40-14 to which the repealed rules were transferred will be discussed.
The legal services agreement with the town’s attorney Adam Bullock is also on the agenda.
Two business items are slated to be discussed. The first is the purchase of two tires for Savage boom mower from Tire Center of Knoxville for $2,450. The next is the payment of an invoice from McKamey Electric, LLC in the amount of $2,028.51 to fix three cluster lights.
