A NOTE FROM THE GRAND ON CENTRAL: “There is so much good going on in our community, and I want to share all this good with you every Monday here on WLAF in hopes that you will start your week in a grand way making each week a Grand Week,†said Olivia Lobertini, owner of The Grand on Central.
JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- A Trail Life USA Troop has formed at Jacksboro under the leadership of Marty Fenton, Troopmaster. Trail Life USA is a church-based, Christ-centered, boy-focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy.

The troop was originally a small group of boys that was comprised of Royal Ambassadors at First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. Just a few days ago, the troop received its charter and is now meeting weekly.
Trail Life is a Christian outdoor adventure organization for boys in grades K-12. “Our boys, Trailmen, are currently in the range of K-5, but we are looking to grow. The local troop is run by a group of men at our church (FBC Jacksboro), along with a couple of other men from another local church,” said Chris Rogers, Troop/Ministry Liaison.

The small RA group has been active for three years, doing discipleship, hiking, camping, and outdoor activities, according to Rogers.
