LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Campbell County Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to announce its 42nd Home Dedication Ceremony, celebrating the completion of a new home for Jeremy and Kayti Metzger and their children, Mikinley, Adiley, and Rylan.

When: Friday, August 1st at 6:00 PM
Where: 217 Brown Crest Road, LaFollette, TN 37766

This event commemorates not only the joy of homeownership but also the spirit of collaboration between Habitat for Humanity, Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA), and Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Jacksboro, whose contributions were pivotal in constructing the Metzger family’s home.

This beautiful home is located in a wonderful neighborhood.

A Special Partnership: TCAT Jacksboro
TCAT Jacksboro’s students and faculty played a critical hands-on role in building the home, applying technical skills while investing in community development. From framing to finishing, the construction of this home served as both a practical training opportunity and a demonstration of civic engagement. The administration, instructors, and students at TCAT exemplified excellence and generosity—contributing time, talent, and heart to make this home a reality.

“Collaborating with TCAT Jacksboro reflects everything Habitat stands for—education, empowerment, and community,” said Zacherly Sheets, Chairman and President of Campbell County Habitat for Humanity. “We are honored to recognize their invaluable role in building the Metzger family’s future.”
