Friday afternoon through midnight, there is a FLOOD WATCH and the potential for severe weather

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- This latest trend of classic summer weather continues today and through the weekend. Steamy conditions with hot sunshine and temps in the mid to upper 80s go along with a feels-like temperature approaching 100-degrees today. Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected again this afternoon through roughly midnight. With additional thunderstorm activity, and the potential for more heavy rains likely today, a Flood Watch continues through this evening. Remember, Turn Around Don’t Drown.
