Late afternoon through the evening, 5pm-11pm, is when the strongest storms are possible

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Expect another steamy day with hot sunshine, a high around 90, and humidity on the oppressive side. Scattered storms are expected again this afternoon into the evening hours with the best coverage expected to be here in Campbell County and other areas north of Interstate 40.

Damaging winds, tropical like downpours of rain and isolated flooding are possible within some storms.
