Another day of hot sunshine and high humidity is on tap

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- It’s certainly a day for keeping you and those close to you safe from the heat and humidity. Heat index values of around 100 degrees can be expected again this afternoon to go along with an air temperature of 90.

Isolated to scattered storms are possible this afternoon into the evening with strong winds and localized flooding possible in some storms. We can’t rule out more tropical downpours of rain.
