Community leaders read to groups of students on Wednesday

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Community leaders gathered Wednesday at Jacksboro Middle School to celebrate National Library Month.

“We each read to a group of students,” said Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch who is also a retired school teacher.

Before Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch read to this group of Jacksboro Middle School students, he explained the local significance of the book, Shadow Warriors, Inside the Special Forces, by Tom Clancy.

Shadow Warriors, Inside the Special Forces, is a book based on the life and career of La Follette native the late Four Star General Carl W. Stiner.
