Everly plans to retire at her new home

Meet this wonderful pet at the county animal shelter this week

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Everly (above) is a sweet and gentle soul looking for a warm, quiet home to retire. She loves ear massages and melts into anyone who gives her belly rubs.

Everly is very good with other dogs, especially when dispelling tension in a pack environment. She does need to be fed separately as she will try to steal from others. Everly is good with cats as well, albeit she will whine and trot after them when she gets excited. She is house trained and consistently indicates when she needs to go outside. Her hips do cause her some stiffness and her eyes are getting cloudy with age, but she has plenty of energy and love to give any family or pack willing to take her in.
