LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- As the sports collectables business continues evolving, Justin Letner keeps pace. “It’s gone from sports to gaming to action figures,” said Letner. Letner’s Collectibles & More are located in Maryville and Morristown and in his hometown, La Follette.

The former Cougar Baseball player enjoyed sports and collecting as a youngster. Since about the only teams on television and/or radio in those days were the Braves, Reds and Cubs those were the cards he collected. “I had these old cards and thought one day that I might as well sell them. From there, I started doing card shows, and that grew into a store front in 1998. We continued growing ever since,” said Letner.

The then 20 year old Letner opened that first shop in the Whiteway Plaza, the Save-a-Lot center. Later, the shop relocated in the plaza across from Jacksboro Middle School. He opened the new La Follette shop four years ago.

Letner deals with the retail side and wholesale side of the business. Expansion into the Tri-Cities, as well as the Cleveland-Chattanooga areas, is in the works, according to Letner.

“Collectibles & More is just an extension to being a ball player,” said Letner. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/06/2024-6AM)
