‘Everybody made it out safely’- Don McGuire, Campbell County Rural Fire Service

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- “I was at the fire station, behind DeRoyal, and was there pretty fast,” said Don McGuire with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service. Two fire engines answered the call of a home on fire in Valley View Estates on Tuesday.

It was just after 8:30am Tuesday when firefighters responded to the fire on Hignite Way.

The fire was contained to one room, and there was minimal damage, according to McGuire. “I installed a smoke detector in this home last year,” said McGuire. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/03/2024-NOON)
