Jesse Roger Silcox, age 79, of Jacksboro passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. Roger spent his life dedicated to the art of woodworking, a craft he loved with all his heart. He was a distinguished member of the Lake Gaston Lions Club for many years. He enjoyed working at the VIP fishing tournament honoring the blind. He also received the highest honor, the Jack Stickley award. He was passionate about fishing, boating and being outdoors. Roger was loved and adored by family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. He was preceded in death by Parents: Johnny and Lucille Loyd Silcox, Nephew: Randy Allred.

A Celebration of Life for Roger will be held at First Baptist Church of Jacksboro Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 3 PM.
